Here at Encino Creative Kids Home Daycare, we will follow the above guidelines.
We will offer clear and firm rules, we will give verbal reminders, we will try our best to redirect the child to another interest / area, we will offer appropriate choices, we will role-model cause and effect, and the last alternative will be a "Reflection Time" to calm oneself, think about what happened, and offer a suggestion as to what could be done differently next time.
* This process will also depend on the child's age and ability to understand. It may be modified.
