* At Encino Creative Kids Home Daycare, we will explore a variety of themes and concepts. Generally, our concepts are broken down into weekly and monthly themes, and will vary on complexity to meet the age and ability of each child.
Some of our weekly themes include: days of the week, months of the year, letter of the week, number of the week, sight word of the week, school / group rules and safety, community helpers, and polite manners / character counts. In addition, we also offer extracurricular classes such as Monday cooking lessons and Friday computer lessons.
Some of our monthly themes include: parts of our body and how they work, proper nutrition and how your body uses foods, family units, feelings and emotions, where we live, different cultures around the world, similarities and differences, respect and kindness to all people and animals, protecting our Earth and the importance of nature, recycling, space and planets, animals and their habitats, life cycles, and why I am important & special!

Babies thrive with appropriate love, nurture, and encouragement. They enjoy eye-contact, being held, cuddled, comforted, smiled at, talked to, music, and played with.
Your baby will enjoy a variety of activities that are both age appropriate and match his/her current abilities. These activities may include: listening to a story, exploring different textured fabrics, tummy time mats, dancing, movement, bubbles, self-discovery with toys, engaging with others in an exciting conversation, going for walks, and of course relaxing naps, and proper nutrition.

Toddlers are full of curiosity and wonder! They are always busy exploring and learning, hands on. Encino Creative Kids provides a safe, yet stimulating environment for your busy little one.

At this age, cognitive, social, emotional, and academic skills are in full bloom!
We aim to further develop all of the valuable skills learned as infants and toddlers. Fostering more developed problem-solving skills, more developed social skills, preparing children with the necessary tools to succeed in Kindergarten and beyond are some of the benefits your preschooler will enjoy here! Of course, there will be plenty of hands-on learning and discovering! Although preschoolers are very independent, we will always be close by to provide support, guidance, and old fashioned affection to aid in enhancing their personality and self-esteem.
Some pre-school activities may include: themed curriculum plans, circle time, language development, a balance of teacher-directed and child-directed activities, age-appropriate inside and outside activities, music/movement, creative play, art expression, math concepts, reading, writing skills, science experiments, large & small muscle developmental activities, speaking with and to peers, sharing creative ideas, and more!
